Qualifications

• Excellent in oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Join SM APPLIANCE (STAR APPLIANCE CENTER, INC.) as a full-time Senior/Category Merchandising Manager based in our Pasay City, Metro Manila office. Responsible for ordering merchandise for the store/branch and monitor all merchandise consumption.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and order merchandise for assigned stores or branches based on sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand
• Scouts for new suppliers and products
• Negotiate with suppliers on product pricing, assortment, promotional support, and commercial terms
• Develop, coordinate, and execute monthly promotional activities to drive sales and increase product visibility
• Collaborate with Store Buyers to ensure effective product placement and visual merchandising in stores.
• Process and monitor supplier rebates for the support of the suppliers
• Monitor inventory movement, stock replenishment, and merchandise consumption across stores and branches to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations
