FC Home Center is seeking a Merchandising Manager in Manila to lead the company’s merchandising strategy for appliances and furniture, ensuring optimal assortment, pricing, inventory levels, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires 5-10 years of merchandising experience with a strong leadership background in retail, plus a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in ERP systems, merchandising software, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
• At least 5-10 years of progressive merchandising experience, with 5 years in a senior leadership role in retail, appliances, furniture, or consumer goods.
• Proven experience in merchandise planning, category management, inventory management, pricing, and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop merchandising and category strategies based on market and sales trends.
• Manage product assortment, SKU performance, pricing, and product lifecycle.
• Plan and monitor promotional activities and new product launches.
• Ensure proper product displays and merchandising standards across stores.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Monitor sales, margins, sell-through, inventory turnover, and slow-moving items.
• Manage supplier and brand relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Inventory, and Store Operations.
• Lead and develop the merchandising team.
• Prepare reports and recommend strategies to improve sales and profitability.
