Job summary

Chevron Holdings Inc. in Makati City, Philippines, is seeking a Category Specialist to lead end-to-end contracting across the lifecycle, from strategy development to post-award management.

You will partner with stakeholders to craft contracting strategies and drive savings, with expertise in pre-award risk and post-award administration. The role requires deep knowledge of pre-award contracting, supplier due diligence, and proficiency in Smart by GEP/Ariba, plus MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with business or engineering focus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, negotiations, and post-award management (or 10+ years in lieu of a degree).
• Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and perform commercial/technical analyses.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Smart by GEP/Ariba and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contracting across lifecycle, from strategy to post-award management.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, develop scopes of work, and manage supplier communications.
• Support sourcing events, administer contracts, and drive documented savings.
• Mentor less experienced contracting professionals and improve processes through technology.
