Job summary

Orica invites applications for a Calibration Officer based at the Limay Manufacturing Plant in the Philippines. You will monitor, calibrate, inspect, test and maintain instruments and measuring equipment, ensuring accuracy and coordinating calibration activities with external service providers.

A technical school graduate or engineering/technical undergraduate with at least 5 years of calibration experience is required; TESDA NC II in Laboratory and Metrology/Calibration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Calibration Technician.
• TESDA NC II in Laboratory and Metrology/Calibration is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, inspection, testing, and maintenance of instruments and measuring equipment.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement and testing systems across the site.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments, gauges, and meters.
• Coordinate calibration activities with external service providers.
• Maintain compliance by supporting safe and accurate plant operations through effective equipment calibration.
