Senior C# & AWS Developer – REST APIs, ELK, East Coast

Job summary

Crawford & Company in the Philippines is seeking a software engineer to design, code, test, and document complex systems. You will collaborate with analysts, engineers, and programmers to design system architecture and interfaces, while maintaining thorough technical documentation.

Responsibilities include developing new software, modifying existing code for specialized needs, and ensuring high availability with robust troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of C# with a focus on developing REST APIs.
• 2+ years AWS including Lambda, Fargate, ElasticCache, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk and/or CloudFormation.
• Elasticsearch and/or ELK stack a very strong plus.
• Strong background in object oriented development techniques.
• MuleSoft, Angular, Auth0, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GraphQL are strong plusses.
• Demonstrable experience implementing enterprise-scale, high volume, high availability systems.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• High standards of code efficiency and cleanliness.
• In depth troubleshooting/support skills.
• Must be available on East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Develops new software and makes complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations.
• Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system, to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Maintains technical documentation.
