Job summary

Shetty & Bhat is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and compliance to support clients’ day-to-day financial activities. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong organization, and proactive client service to improve workflows and relationships.

The candidate will manage TDS, GST, PT, PF, and ESI returns, handle AR/AP, and generate MIS in collaboration with internal teams, using Zoho Books, Tally, Busy, or similar software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping and compliance experience.
• Background as CA Articled Assistant or Junior Accountant preferred.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, Busy and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commerce degree (B.Com or equivalent); additional finance certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, PT, PF, and ESI returns and related compliances.
• Generate invoices, apply tax rates, and maintain AR/AP records.
• Collaborate with internal teams for MIS generation and address discrepancies.
• Conduct research on prospective clients and strengthen client relationships.
• Handle day-to-day entries in Zoho Books, Tally, Busy, or equivalent software.
• Help implement process improvements and document best practices.

• Generate invoices, accurately applying relevant tax rates, and maintain up-to-date records of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable .
  
• Collaborate with internal teams for MIS generation and address any discrepancies or client inquiries.
  
• Conduct targeted research on prospective clients, enhancing our client relationship efforts.
  
• Perform day-to-day entries in Zoho Books, Tally, Busy , or equivalent software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements
