Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering (ECE), or related technical field.
• Licensed ECE or certified Biomedical Technician (TESDA NC II/III) preferred.
• 3+ years in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficient in clinical equipment repair (OR, ICU, ER, Radiology), calibration, electrical safety, schematic reading, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance schedules and handle corrective repairs for all biomedical devices to minimize clinical downtime.
• Vendor & SLA Management: Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical support, warranty claims, and service contracts.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with DOH, FDA, and radiation/electrical safety calibration standards.
• Procurement Support: Conduct technical evaluations and assessments for new capital medical equipment purchases.
• Asset Management: Maintain audit-ready logs of equipment inventories, service histories, and calibration certificates.
• Training & Leadership: Train clinical staff on proper device operation and supervise junior biomedical technicians.
