Job summary

Chong Hua Hospital in the Philippines is seeking a Biomedical Technician to perform maintenance, servicing, cleaning and repairs of medical equipment across the hospital. You will support Biomedical Technologists and ensure safety in operation, while staying updated on new technologies in medical engineering.

The role involves preventive maintenance, timely reporting of equipment concerns, and collaboration with clinical staff to ensure equipment readiness and proper use.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical diagrams of equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• 2–4 years of related maintenance experience in biomedical equipment.
• Engineering degree or related vocational qualification; TESDA NC II is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of tools and materials needed for maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment.
• Coordinate with end-users and departments during and after maintenance procedures.
• Report equipment concerns promptly to supervisor for swift resolution.
• Assist in training junior personnel and evaluating staff.
