Job summary

V2X in the Philippines is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Specialist to oversee medical maintenance operations and support lifecycle management of medical equipment. You will perform repair, calibration, and overhauls while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

You will use automated systems (TEWLS, AESIP, GCSS-A) to track maintenance, train staff, and document all activities. A four-year background in biomedical tech with CBET/CLES is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering technology or related field.
• CBET or CLES certification preferred, not required.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and safety communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle management and technical support for diagnostic, therapeutic devices and monitoring equipment.
• Perform repair, calibration, preventive maintenance and safety testing on medical equipment.
• Document all work in the CMMS and maintain accurate timecards.
• Train staff on safe use, operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Utilize TEWLS, AESIP, GCSS-A systems for maintenance processes.
• Inspect new devices for safety and function and attach certification labels.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulatory standards.
