You will own backend work end-to-end and collaborate with product and frontend teams to ship reliable APIs. Join a global team spanning 55+ countries, with a focus on architectural judgment, clean code, and strong testing and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with hands-on work in TS, Python, or C#.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with modern git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong system-design instincts: data modelling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.
• SQL and NoSQL databases experience (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Clean, testable code with observability to diagnose live issues.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production backend services end-to-end in TS, Python, or C#, owning work from implementation to deployment.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs that serve frontend and backend systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, choosing appropriate databases.
• Write clean, well-tested code and set up observability to catch and debug issues in live systems.
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to deliver reliable software.
