Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong system-design instincts: data modelling, component architecture, and event-driven thinking.
• Proficient with SQL relational databases; familiar with NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production backend services end-to-end in TypeScript, Python, or C#, owning your work from implementation through deployment.
• Design, build, and version REST or GraphQL APIs serving as the contract between frontend and backend systems.
• Make architecture decisions around data modelling, service boundaries, and component design with event-driven thinking.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, choosing the right database for each use case.
• Write clean, well-tested code and set up observability to catch and debug issues in live systems.
