Job summary

JioStar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of core backend systems for ad delivery, targeting, measurement, and optimization. You will own large-scale projects end to end, operate autonomously, and shape architecture for high-throughput, low-latency platforms.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with PMs and data scientists, and drive operational excellence across performance tuning, incident response, and code quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience with backend development and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices powering JioStar's ad tech stack.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with fault tolerance.
• Drive architectural decisions and long-term engineering strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain operational excellence including performance tuning and incident response.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
