We seek a senior backend engineer to architect scalable services using Go, Java, and JavaScript, and to lead API design with Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Responsibilities include owning complex business logic, API standards, database design with MySQL, and driving microservices while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership
• Hands-on production experience with Go, Java, and JavaScript
• Deep expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade apps
• RESTful API design including auth, authz, and integrations
• Experience with ReactJS and frontend collaboration
• Strong MySQL skills: schema, indexing, performance tuning
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Mentor engineers and lead code reviews
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/e2e)
• CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production monitoring

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and lead scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
• Drive enterprise-grade app design with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Own complex business logic, authentication, and external integrations
• Define API standards and lead internal/external API design
• Collaborate with frontend teams using ReactJS where needed
• Lead database design, performance tuning, and data access layers
• Oversee end-to-end integration architecture between frontend and backend
• Evaluate and govern third-party services and APIs
• Drive microservices architecture and distributed design decisions
• Enforce data security, reliability, and coding standards
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Participate in KT sessions and training for teams/clients
• Travel for Singapore training in October and Manila in Nov-Dec
• Communicate progress to stakeholders
• Stay updated on digital product and tech trends
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding processes
