Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is hiring a backend-focused engineer to architect scalable services using Go, Java, and JavaScript. You will drive API design with Spring/Spring Boot and own critical authentication and integration layers.

Collaborate with frontend teams, contribute to complex business logic, and help evolve enterprise-grade applications in a hybrid setup with on-site training in Singapore and Manila.

• Architect, design, and lead development of scalable, high-availability backend services and RESTful APIs using Go, Java, and JavaScript
• Drive the design and evolution of enterprise-grade applications using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot, setting technical direction for the team
• Own the design of complex business logic, authentication, authorization, and integration services, ensuring extensibility and security by design
• Define API design standards and lead the design of APIs for internal and external system integrations
• Partner with frontend teams and take ownership of complex user-facing components using ReactJS where needed
