Job summary

Manila Recruitment Limited in the Philippines is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines across medallion layers. You will own end-to-end ingestion, processing and reporting, with a focus on reliability and replay-safe transformations.

You will implement production-grade SQL and Python/Spark transformations, enforce data quality and schema consistency, and collaborate with analysts and developers to deliver fast, trusted datasets and dashboards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data warehousing concepts.
• Production-grade pipelines with SQL, Python or Spark experience.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Synapse.
• Knowledge of Power BI modelling and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines end-to-end across medallion layers.
• Ensure pipelines are reliable, with backfill and replay-safe logic.
• Implement data quality checks and schema consistency across layers.
• Collaborate with analysts and application developers to deliver trusted datasets.
• Monitor pipelines, alert on failures and automate repeat interventions.
