Crew Offshoring Solutions (Crew) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This remote role is based in the Philippines and supports a globally distributed engineering team.

You will automate provisioning, enforce security, and optimize costs while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring uptime in a fast-paced Market Research AI initiative.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in DevOps or Cloud Infra roles.
• Deep AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Docker and orchestration (ECS/EKS).
• CI/CD pipelines expertise.
• Monitoring/log aggregation tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK).
• Linux systems and networking knowledge.
• Security best practices (secrets management, IAM, encryption).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications preferred.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep experience in AWS to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our environments are scalable, secure, and highly available, while also enabling our developers to deliver quickly and confidently.In this role, you’ll collaborate across engineering and product teams to automate operations, enforce infrastructure standards, and drive DevOps excellence throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, and environment management
• Monitor and optimize application and system performance using observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
• Ensure security best practices, IAM role design, and resource policies are consistently applied
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and AWS services such as ECS or EKS
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across environments and coordinate incident response
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and streamline releases
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Mentor junior DevOps and infrastructure engineers as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Solid experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS or EKS)
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK stack)
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking
• Working knowledge of security best practices (e.g., secrets management, IAM policies, encryption)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
• Experience with serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions)
• Familiarity with cost optimization and AWS billing insights
• Exposure to multi-account AWS org setups and infrastructure governance
