Job summary

Power Integrations in the Philippines seeks a Senior Engineer to drive research, characterization, and development of automotive power-supply solutions using PI products.

You will design, test, and optimize switching PSUs, mentor junior engineers, interact with customers, and contribute to PI Expert Software Suite; strong lab skills required.

A bachelor's in electrical engineering and five years of design experience in power electronics are expected; on-site in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of power electronics or general electronics engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to independently solve complex technical issues and guide design decisions.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, interface with customers, and mentor junior engineers.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage priorities, risks, schedules, and cross-functional activities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Research, development, and design of power supplies for automotive applications using PI products.
• Develop techniques to optimize power supplies and contribute to PI Expert Software Suite improvements.
• Assist in new product development and explore automotive applications for PI IC products.
• Design, implement, test, and characterize automotive switching PSU using PI products.
• Evaluate, document, and optimize switching power supplies built with PI products.
• Provide design support and technical advice to customers.
• Prepare technical application materials for publication and conferences.
• Other duties as assigned.
