Job summary

WeSupport, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to design and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications and computer systems.

You will detect defects, document issues, and coordinate with infra and development teams to ensure quality releases. The role emphasizes strong planning, testing across the SDLC, and manual testing proficiency, with experience in supervising QA activities and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Automation Tester.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test planning and test design.
• Solid experience in manual testing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial QA role.
• Experience with various software testing methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with banking applications or packaged applications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans on software applications and computer systems
• Record and document results and compare to expected results
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected; document issues and maintain them in an issues log
• Work with infra team to setup and operate test environments
• Work with development team to properly plan for code migration against the progress of test activities
• Analyze project requirements
• Perform a product risk assessment based on requirements
• Identify and analyze risks
• Establish test strategy and complex test approach
