Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with defect tracking/test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend apps.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
• Collaborate with teams to define quality acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest preventive actions.
• Support CI/CD by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
• Validate performance, reliability, and scalability as needed.
• Review requirements and designs for testability and coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices.
