Job summary

Nordic in the Philippines seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions enhancing observability and operational efficiency. The role requires expertise in GitHub, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and Python, with 4+ years in automation for IT operations.

You will develop and deploy automation scripts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document processes while staying current with new automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (5+ years experience)
• Master's degree with 3+ years experience or 8+ years experience without degree
• Minimum 4 years building automation solutions for IT operations
• Strong proficiency with GitHub, Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, and Python

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation solutions for system monitoring, alerting and reporting, including agent deployment and incident remediation.
• Manage source code using GitHub and best practices for version control and collaboration.
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, and Python for advanced automation and data analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Document automation processes and provide support for IT operations and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and systems.
• Stay updated on latest automation technologies and contribute to team innovation.
