Job summary

EY GDS seeks a GDS Assurance Senior in Taguig to serve as the primary liaison for global client teams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables while overseeing daily engagement operations. Ideal candidates have a BS Accountancy and 2+ years in accounting/audit, with leadership experience and strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge.

Preference for CPA but Non-CPA candidates are welcome; familiarity with accounting standards and taxation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy.
• CPA preferred but open to Non-CPA.
• External audit experience required (minimum 2 years).
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and audit standards.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, PSA and Taxation.

Job description

The opportunity

As a GDS Assurance Senior, you would be the main point of contact from GDS for the tasks assigned by the global client serving assurance teams and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day to day operations of those engagements

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Open to Non-CPA

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting & audit function (external audit is required)

• At least 1 year of leadership experience

• Familiarity with accounting principles and audit standards

• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, PSA and Taxation

Ideally, you'll also have

• Knowledge of accounting and assurance standards or knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP and International review standards is an added advantage.

• Excellent communication skills
