Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Manila seeks a Lead Principal Auditor (VP) to join Group Audit’s Finding Validation Centre. This senior SME role leads complex audits, coaches auditors, and engages with senior stakeholders, reporting to the Principal Audit Manager.

The role requires deep audit/risk experience within financial services and the ability to manage multiple validations across divisions. The team works across business lines with a focus on technology, data, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field; advanced degree and professional certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial services audit, with leadership of audits or validations.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and risk/control understanding of technology, procurement and outsourcing.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead multiple audits.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of finding validations portfolio remediated by the Group COO and CEO divisions.
• Lead validations of complex Significant Findings and guide auditors.
• Coordinate validations with other IT audit teams; ensure on time, on budget.
• Coach auditors and mentor the team to build capability.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing of validations with the PAM and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and share knowledge with the team.
• Build relationships with colleagues and business areas to support audit outcomes.
