Job summary

Manulife invites an experienced audit professional to join our Audit and Advisory Services team. You will support and execute SOX testing and risk-based audits across Asia, leveraging data analytics to improve effectiveness, and collaborating with colleagues from over 10 locations.

You will contribute to governance and risk management in a dynamic, multicultural environment and grow your career within a global financial services leader. Hybrid work arrangements in Metro Manila are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, or related assurance functions within the financial services industry.
• Fluent in spoken and written English with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple business units in a multicultural environment and resolve conflicts at all levels.
• Ability to quickly understand business processes, identify key controls, and make practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute SOX testing and risk-based audits in line with MAnulife’s methodology and IIA Standards.
• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing for assigned controls and document walkthroughs.
• Lead simple defined procedures or audit sections with guidance, ensuring timely, high-quality work.
• Identify issues and root causes; communicate findings to Audit Lead or Country Head with guidance.
• Apply data analytics to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency; assist in issue follow-up and closure.
