Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks a driven Controls Assurance Auditor to support SOC 1/2, ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 engagements across financial services and related sectors.

You’ll join a 250-strong BRS team, engaging with client stakeholders and external auditors to test controls, evaluate deficiencies and communicate observations while pursuing career progression in a dynamic, professional services environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ direct delivery experience in audit, risk advisory or attestation services.
• Knowledge of ISAE3402, SSAE18 and/or SOC2 Trust Service Criteria
• Degree in Accounting, Information systems or related field
• Good IT literacy with AI tools and automated controls testing
• CPA/ACCA/ACCA/CISA/CISSP/CRISC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a broad range of attestation and assurance engagements including SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000.
• Evaluate controls and perform testing across financial services and related sectors.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders and external auditors to obtain evidence and communicate observations.
• Prepare draft assurance reports and identify deficiencies for remediation.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
