Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Associate in Transaction Analytics to support the Strategy and Transactions practice in Taguig. You will work with large datasets to uncover value drivers, risks, and trends across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate finance engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in transaction analytics, financial analysis, audit or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one BI/analytics tool (Power BI/Alteryx/Tableau/SQL).
• Solid understanding of financial statements and transaction concepts.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in M&A, due diligence, or transaction services (preferred).
• Experience with automation, data transformation, or advanced analytics (preferred).
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) (preferred).
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or progression toward one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform data-driven analysis to support M&A, divestiture, carve-out, and restructuring engagements.
• Analyze large financial and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and value opportunities.
• Support financial due diligence through transaction analytics, including revenue, cost, working capital, and margin analysis.
• Build and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Excel, or similar.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for clients and senior EY stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including financial due diligence, valuation, tax, and technology.
• Assist in project management activities, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and data requests.
• Review work performed by junior team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain strong client relationships and demonstrate a professional, client-focused approach.
• Ensure compliance with EY quality, risk management, and confidentiality standards.
