What this job involves
This role is a key contributor to JLL Business Services (JBS) in its journey toward data-driven operations, supporting the evolution, scalability, and impact of analytics-enabled decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate will identify key metrics for JBS/JLL offerings, create and present data-driven insights, implement various analytics methods, and integrate emerging technologies. Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and stakeholder collaboration abilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business and leadership decision-making
- Own end-to-end reporting processes, from data extraction and validation to insight generation and distribution
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of data and reporting outputs
- Analyze business performance, trends, and variances, translating data into clear, actionable insights
- Deliver executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, and reporting packs with clear storytelling
- Communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a concise and structured manner
- Identify & execute on opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and scalability
- Automate recurring reporting workflows using BI automation, or low-/no-code AI tools
- Leverage AI to assist with data summarization, insight drafting, anomaly detection, and narrative reporting
Required Experience & Skills
- 6 - 8 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence
- Advanced proficiency in BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel); ability to build clear, well-structured dashboards and reports independently
- Experience with SharePoint development or M365 integration — building intranet pages, list-based workflows, or embedding reports within the M365 ecosystem
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Business acumen: ability to understand operational context and translate metrics into decisions, not just outputs
- Self‑motivated; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Track record of mentoring or guiding junior analysts on execution and business context
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to translate complex data into clear, business‑relevant narratives for non‑technical audiences at all levels
- Experience in a global company working across cultures is preferred.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership or C‑suite reporting, including designing executive scorecards and preparing board‑level materials
- Hands‑on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, including building form‑based data capture solutions, designing approval workflows, and automating report distribution
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction; comfort with querying
- Experience using AI tools for data analysis or report generation (e.g., ChatGPT, MS Copilot, AI‑enabled BI features)
- Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL tools for data preparation and workflow automation
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses or cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS)
