Job summary

Proseso Consulting in Makati, Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate to lead key client accounts and supervise Associates in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

You will manage day-to-day accounting activities, oversee month-end and tax filings, and ensure compliance with internal policies while guiding the team to deliver accurate financial outputs and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related course.
• Experience in accounting, audit, or outsourced finance services.
• Experience supervising staff is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead outputs and client relationship for assigned key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and client requirements.
• Review work performed by Associates and provide guidance and support.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities of the assigned team.
• Manage general ledgers using cloud accounting tools (including Odoo).
• Oversee journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Review bank reconciliations and financial reports prior to submission.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax filings in compliance with BIR and statutory agencies.
• Coordinate with management on complex issues and client requirements.
