Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Senior Associate, Fund Accounting to serve as the primary client contact for allocated portfolios in a Singapore-based role. You will lead discussions on operations, review financial statements, and draft IFRS/US GAAP disclosures, ensuring accurate NAVs and capital calls.

You will collaborate with multiple Vistra teams to deliver precise reporting and strong client relationships, leveraging Yardi and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• 3 years of accounting/auditing experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP.
• Familiarity with INREV reporting is preferred.
• Experience with Yardi Investment Management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Senior Associate, Fund Accounting

. This full-time and permanent position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the primary client service contact for the assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
• Lead discussions with clients on operational matters and critical issues that need to be addressed.
• Review financial statements, management accounts, and accounting packages.
• Be proficient in drafting disclosure wordings for IFRS/US GAAP accounting conventions and INREV reporting.
• Review Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values.
• Read and understand fund documents, such as subscription documents, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements, for existing and new funds, and explain the key terms to team members.
• Review capital call and distribution notices.
• Prepare/review waterfall and equalization workings.
• Coordinate and liaise with fund investors to meet their specific reporting requirements.
• Review investor requests and any ad hoc requests from clients.
• Work closely with other teams (i.e. Cash Management, Investor Services, Corporate Secretarial, and other Vistra offices) to ensure overall operations are running smoothly.
• Provide formal and informal training to staff on both accounting and real estate/industry-related aspects.
• Undertake management, general administration, and other special projects as assigned by Management.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA), Finance, or equivalent.
• 3 years of accounting/auditing experience.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS and US GAAP.
• Knowledge of INREV reporting preferred.
• Solid understanding of operational functions, including Fund Structures, Fund Accounting, Equalizations, Calls/Distributions, and Waterfall Models.
• Effective client relations, teamwork, and management skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Analytical, independent, and resourceful.
• Familiarity with Yardi Investment Management and experience in process improvement will be advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
