Job summary

Ascentium Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate to lead financial reporting and tax compliance for our clients. You will review reports, manage BIR tax returns, meet deadlines, and coach Accounting Associates to uphold performance and compliance standards.

Based in BGC, Taguig City, you will maintain strong client relationships, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely submissions to government agencies while guiding the team through month‑end and year‑end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
• At least three years of experience in outsource accounting and tax compliance services or internal finance/accounting with both processes handled
• Strong written and oral communication skills and client relationship skills
• At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience required

Responsibilities

• Review clients’ financial reports and analyze journal entries prepared by Accounting Associates
• Review clients’ monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns
• Monitor deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance documents to government agencies
• Maintain daily communication with clients to gather requirements for books and tax compliance
• Provide regular coaching and supervision to Accounting Associates

Requirements:

• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills
