Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation is seeking an experienced accounting professional to ensure the company's funds are available for operations and capital needs. The role involves overseeing cash receipts, maintaining checks during disruptions, and coordinating funding with internal teams.

The position also requires ensuring proper period recording of monitored accounts and preparing leadership-facing reports for parent entities, while upholding internal control policies around GL maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in accounting with at least 2 years in cash management operations.
• Graduate with BS in Commerce or Business Administration, preferably Finance or Accounting.
• Experience handling cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of funds to meet ongoing operational and capital needs.
• Oversee and review cash receipt transactions.
• Serve as primary custodian of company checks during digital banking disruptions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for funding requirements.
• Coordinate with groups for expected cash disbursements.
• Ensure monitored accounts are recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Prepare reports for approval and submission to parent and ultimate parent companies.
• Maintain policies and procedures to enforce controls over GL maintenance.

• Responsible in overseeing and reviewing cash receipt transactions.




• Serves as the primary custodian of company checks, ensuring operational readiness and seamless financial continuity during digital banking disruptions.




• Coordinates with internal stakeholders for their funding requirements.




• Coordinates with different groups for their expected cash disbursements.




• Ensures monitored accounts are recorded in the correct accounting period.




• Prepares reports for approval and submission to parent and ultimate parent companies.




• Maintains policies and procedures that enforce an adequate level of control over GL maintenance and other accounting processes.

Job Requirements

• Graduate Bachelor of Science in Commerce or Business Administration, preferably Finance or Accounting Major.




• Minimum 5 years in accounting with at least two (2) years experience in cash management operations.
