Job summary

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is hiring an Asset Management Accountant to manage fixed assets and lease accounting in Makati City. You will record acquisitions, depreciation, and asset dispositions while ensuring lease accounting aligns with financial controls and IFRS/IFRIC standards.

The role requires CPA certification or strong accounting background, advanced Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or PeopleSoft. On-site work in Makati is expected.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required/advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Record cost of newly acquired fixed assets (tangible & intangible).
• Record depreciation and asset dispositions.
• Account for leases: right-of-use assets and related liabilities.
• Collect lease information for accuracy and maintain closing controls.
• Prepare lease-related adjustments: expense reversals, capitalization, depreciation, and lease liability amortization.
• Support monthly and year-end closing for Lease Management module.
• Analyze lease inventory vs List of Leases and report variances.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements within Asset Lease Management.
