Job summary

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Manila is seeking a junior accounting professional to monitor insurance-related accounts, assist in reviewing entries, and perform reconciliations. You will prepare journal entries, support monthly and year-end closings, and provide administrative support to the AAR team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business-related field.
• Motivated, curious and eager to learn.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Interest in accounting, finance and business processes.
• Target Start Date: 3 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Monitor insurance-related accounts, reimbursements, claims and related transactions.
• Assist in reviewing accounting entries and balances.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules and working files.
• Support management by filing documentation and routing requests.
• Perform integrity checks on accounting information.
• Review supporting docs and validate accounting transactions.
