Job summary

Elev8 Architects in Makati, Philippines seeks a Senior Architect to lead design packages from concept through detailed design and manage cross-disciplinary coordination with consultants.

You will oversee BIM content development, QA/QC processes, and compliance with BEP/LOD standards, while guiding the architectural team to meet project deadlines and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design packages from Concept Design through Detailed Design stages.
• Leading Architectural team for timely delivery as per contractual requirements.
• Assess and forecast key risks involved in the project and propose mitigation methods to the corresponding line Manager.
• Responsible for compliance with local authority and international codes.
• Responsible for all technical detailing of projects.
• Responsible for management of stage submission as per contract deliverables in close collaboration with engineers, project managers, QS & Architects.
• Accountable & responsible for interdisciplinary coordination with all consultants.
• Prepare and present comprehensive feasibility reports and design proposals to the client as and when required.
• Update Architectural specifications in accordance with contract deliverables.
• Support line manager in the tender process for technical aspects including preparation of tender documents, response to tender queries and Post Tender Clarifications.
• Responsible for the delivery of Authority submission package with the assistance of architects.
• Responsible for Project QAQC.
• Support the Design manager in completing minutes of meetings, preparation of change request, Weekly / Monthly progress reports, Risk register, contract deliverables and RFI’s
• Actively collaborate with BIM Committee for developing BIM Content/Library, managing KPIs, contributing to achieving annual BIM Goals, progressive upgradation of BIM Standards & manuals, improving project templates & review of project models.
• Participate in preparing reports for BIM auditing requirements.
• Review & implement BIM Execution Plan (Pre-Contract & Post Contract) based on the client’s EIR.
• Support BIM Process throughout the design phase of the project including management of CDE, MIDP, TIDP, Data Drops, Model health checking of PIM and be in charge of Design Issues.
• Follow Office BIM protocol and ensure delivery of PIM and stage deliverables as per office standards.
• Review stage submission of PIM and conduct QA/QC audit based on BEP or office template.
• Ensure models are developed In compliance with BEP and follow LOD requirements and Classification system as defined.
