Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a BIM Architect to lead on-site coordination and ensure construction detail documentation meets quality and safety standards. The role requires BIM proficiency, CAD, SketchUp, and collaboration with structural and MEP teams.

You will review datasets, prepare shop drawings, and support project managers with cost estimates and schedules, while upholding integrity and effective communication across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3-4 years of experience in structural/architectural detailed workmanship.
• BIM: 2 years required.
• COSH Certificates.
• Knowledgeable in BIM, CAD, shop drawings, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work independently and with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control.
• Ensure safety and health policies and procedures on site are followed.
• Attend on-site coordination meetings and inspections; coordinate with Structural, MEPFS, etc.
• Monitor and supervise preparation of CAD/technical drawings and datasets.
• Perform project research and support PM/PIC to resolve project issues.
• Recommends value engineering or cost-saving measures to the Technical Head or PM.
• Assist the sub-ordinates in specifying cost estimates, materials, duration, progress billings.
• Ensure the quality and efficiency for all tasks and deliverables especially on architectural finishing.
• Coordinate and monitor BIM project data workflow, setup and reviews.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the PM/PIC.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control

• Ensure safety and health policies and procedures in the project site are followed

• Attend on-site coordination meeting, weekly walk-thru inspections, and coordinates with other work disciplines such as Structural, MEPFS, etc. in the implementation of plans, specifications and project schedules and to determine any potential problems

• Monitor and supervise preparation of CAD/technical drawings and of efficient datasets, layouts, work statements, drawings and delivery status for other sub-ordinate architects

• Perform project research and support Project Managers/PIC to resolve project issues in conformance to all technical requirements

• Recommends value engineering or cost-saving measures to the Technical Head or Project Manager

• Assist the Structural/architectural/ other technical sub-ordinates in specifying the cost estimates, materials, duration, progress billings, and other relevant information required for the actualization of the project

• Ensure the quality and efficiency for all assigned tasks and deliverables especially on the architectural finishing

• Coordinate and monitor BIM project data workflow, set up and reviews

• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the PM/PIC

About you

• Bachelor's degree (Required)

• At least 3-4 years experiences in Structural/Architectural detailed workmanship
