Job summary

RegASK is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to own the design, evaluation and delivery of LLM-powered agentic systems within our platform. You will build agent workflows in Python/TypeScript and integrate them into a Node/React environment, collaborating closely with product engineering.

You will own outcomes end-to-end, including the evaluation harness, production readiness and surface used by customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with LangGraph, LangChain or comparable agent frameworks.
• Ownership of LLM evaluation and observability: proving and monitoring behaviour in production.
• Strong command of embedding models and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Mongo Atlas Vector Search).
• At least one GenAI product surface built and shipped end-to-end.
• Strong Python (FastAPI, Transformers, spaCy) and working TypeScript with Node/React.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agent workflows using LangGraph/LangChain with focus on orchestration and observability.
• Build automated evaluation pipelines (factuality, robustness, hallucination detection, guardrails).
• Optimise embedding models, vector store integrations and RAG pipelines for regulatory content.
• Integrate agentic services into the RegASK platform in Node/React codebase.
• Maintain prompt pipelines and tune cost, latency and accuracy in production.
• Own deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of GenAI services (LLMOps), preferably in Azure.
• Mentor colleagues on agent design and evaluation practice.
