Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking an Application Security Architect to join the Digital & Technology Office in Pasay City on a hybrid schedule. You will design and implement security solutions across API, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

With 7–10 years in security architecture and proven DevSecOps experience, you will lead IAM for collaborators and oversee perimeter security, threat monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field
• Strong understanding of IAM, security metrics and perimeter security
• Experience in Cybersecurity principles, best practices, and standards
• Knowledge of modern application architectures (API, microservices, cloud-native)
• Experience in DevSecOps or Secure SDLC environments
• 7–10 years of security architecture leadership and team management

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic security solutions against cyber threats
• Leads deployment of security technologies (firewalls, IDS, encryption)
• Manages IAM for third-party collaborators and freelancers
• Reviews perimeter security functions and fortifies defenses
• Monitors threats and mitigates breaches
• Collaborates on root-cause analyses and improvements
• Investigates architecture enhancements
• Promotes security awareness across the organization
