MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking a Security Architect to design, govern, and assure secure technology solutions across applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure and data. You will embed security-by-design and align with enterprise risk appetite to support digital transformation.

The role requires strong expertise in security architecture, IAM, data protection, and threat modeling, with collaboration across enterprise teams and vendors. Hybrid work setup in Makati/Metro Manila is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in security architecture or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture principles, zero trust, and risk-based design.
• Experience designing controls for apps, cloud, networks, and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architecture principles, standards, reference architectures and guardrails.
• Align security decisions with enterprise architecture direction, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
• Embed security-by-design across application, cloud, infrastructure, and data architectures.
• Review designs for authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, monitoring and hardening.
• Design IAM architectures including SSO, MFA, conditional access, RBAC and privileged access.
• Define data protection requirements: encryption, tokenization, key management and secure data exchange.
• Perform security risk assessments and threat modeling for new systems and major changes.
• Define cloud security architectures and guardrails for Microsoft Azure.
• Prepare and maintain security architecture documents and design reviews.
