Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Regional Privacy Counsel and Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the Philippines to support SEEK’s APAC operations. You will provide privacy guidance, help evolve the privacy program, and ensure regulatory alignment.

You will monitor local laws, manage data subject requests, coordinate submissions, and train staff while collaborating with the SEEK Legal and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Extensive knowledge of data privacy principles and practices.
• Experience implementing privacy programs.
• Minimum 3 years in privacy, cybersecurity, or compliance in the region.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide privacy guidance for SEEK APAC businesses.
• Identify privacy risks and ensure compliance.
• Develop privacy documentation repository.
• Monitor local privacy laws in the Philippines.
• Lead data breach response and regulatory filings.
• Train staff on privacy awareness.
