Job summary

Bacardi is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join Data Operations, delivering high quality BI solutions that support operational efficiency and leadership reporting. You will enhance dashboards and create new Power BI reports using reliable, timely data.

You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Service Delivery and Operations teams to design scalable semantic models, write advanced DAX, ensure governance and documentation, and uphold security and compliance across BI assets.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Power BI development and data modeling.
• Experience building dashboards and semantic models for operational use.
• Proficiency with Power BI Service, Desktop, and advanced DAX.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server tooling.
• Knowledge of time intelligence, KPIs, and complex calculations.
• Experience with Azure data services (data lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Solid data transformation and data cleansing skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop new operational dashboards and performance reports aligned with KPIs (SLAs, SLOs, ticket trends, incident analytics).
• Enhance and optimize existing Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.
• Design scalable semantic models supporting real-time or near real-time reporting.
• Write advanced DAX measures for complex calculations.
• Ensure governance of visuals, navigation, and KPI definitions across Tech Ops dashboards.
• Maintain documentation for designs, data flows, and procedures.
• Uphold security, governance, and compliance across BI assets.

The Senior Power BI Developer will play a critical role within Bacardi Data Operations, delivering high quality business intelligence solutions that support operational efficiency, service performance, business and leadership reporting. This role focuses on both enhancing existing operational dashboards and developing new Power BI reports that empower the business and organization to make informed decisions based on accurate, timely, and well structured data. The developer will work closely with Data Engineering, Service Delivery, and Operations stakeholders to ensure data reliability, consistency, and alignment with Bacardi standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new operational dashboards and performance reports aligned with ASG Data Operations KPIs (SLAs, SLOs, workload volumes, ticket trends, incident analytics, etc.).
• Enhance and optimize existing Power BI dashboards to improve performance, visual clarity, and stakeholder usability.
• Design scalable and efficient semantic models that support operational analytics and real time or near real time reporting needs.
• Write advanced DAX measures to support complex operational calculations and metrics.
• Ensure governance of visual standards, navigation experience, and KPI definitions across all Tech Ops dashboards.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for solution designs, data flows, and operational procedures.
• Apply and uphold security, governance, and compliance best practices across all BI data assets.
