ConnectOS is seeking a Senior AML Operations Analyst to join the AML Operations team in a work-from-home setup with rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will lead Level 2 reviews of TM alerts, conduct in-depth analyses, mentor junior staff, and produce MI and regulatory reports.

The role requires 5+ years in AML/CFT, TM, or L2 checker experience, knowledge of sanctions and financial crime typologies, and strong narrative writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on AML/CFT with TM or L2 checker role.
• Crypto-related investigations experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of AML laws, sanctions, and financial crime typologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work on roster weekends.
• Professional AML certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Level 2 investigations and escalation reviews.
• Deep-dive analysis of complex TM alerts escalated from Level 1.
• Review sanctions/PEP/adverse news cases and propose disposition before passing to MLRO.
• Act as Reporting Officer for final decision on cases.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Level 1 analysts.
• Ensure maker-checker implementation for Level 1 and advise on shift rosters.
• Draft detailed STRs/SARs for regulatory submission.
• Synthesize financial data into clear narratives for law enforcement and regulators.
• Collate and deliver MI reports on alert volumes, backlogs, and productivity.
• Suggest improvements to monitoring scenarios, thresholds, and perform UAT testing.
