Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking an AML Operations Analyst to join our compliance team. You will perform Level 1 reviews of alerts and screenings to detect probable financial crime in real-time, supporting on/off-ramp and OTC trading operations in a 24/7 rotation.

The role requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication to document investigations and escalate where needed. Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays is essential; prior experience in AML, blockchain analytics, or

Qualifications

1-3 years of AML operations, blockchain analytics, or financial crime compliance.
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation including nights and weekends.
Strong analytical skills to identify patterns in complex data sets.
Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting investigations.

Responsibilities

Alert Triaging: Conduct initial Level 1 analysis of transaction monitoring and KYT alerts.
Name Screening: Review and clear or escalate potential sanctions hits, PEP matches, and adverse media alerts.
Shift Coverage: Work flexible hours across a 24/7 rotational schedule.
Risk Assessment: Analyze fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-crypto transactions for suspicious activity.
OTC Investigation: Review high-value OTC deals for source of wealth and legitimacy.
Escalations: Document findings and escalate complex cases to Level 2/Senior Analysts.
Handovers: Ensure smooth shift handovers with no dropped alerts.
