Job summary

ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking a Senior AML Operations Analyst to join our AML Operations Team. You will perform Level 2 reviews of escalated TM alerts, act as a checker, mentor junior analysts, and translate financial data into MI and regulatory reports.

The role emphasizes ownership of quality investigations, collaboration with MLRO, and continuous improvement of detection scenarios, thresholds, and workflows, with weekend rosters as needed.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Investigations & Escalation Review
• Deep‑Dive Analysis of complex TM alerts
• Name Screening Review for sanctions/PEP/adverse news
• Reporting Officer (MLRO) for final decision
• Feedback & Mentorship to Level 1 analysts
• Team Management and maker-checker implementation
• STR/SAR drafting for regulatory submission
• Narrative Writing to document complex activity clearly
• MI Reporting on alert volumes, backlogs, and metrics
• Continuous Improvement of detection scenarios and workflows
• 5+ years AML/CFT experience, crypto investigations preferred
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and sanctions frameworks
• Analytical and communication skills to explain risks
• Willing to roster during weekends
• CAMS/ICA certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Level 2 reviews of escalated TM alerts and ensure accuracy.
• Act as checker to quality-check investigations and mentor junior analysts.
• Draft STRs/SARs with detailed narratives for regulators.
• Prepare MI reports on metrics, backlog, and conversion rates.
• Enhance transaction monitoring thresholds and workflows through testing and UAT.
