Job summary

Genpact seeks an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead data science initiatives within the AI & Analytics team. You will drive end-to-end ML model development, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior data scientists to deliver measurable business impact.

You will apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and ML techniques using Python/R, SQL/NoSQL, and MLOps practices. Onsite work in Centris, Quezon City is expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant hands‑on experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics, preferably in a consulting or enterprise setting.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering impactful data science projects from inception to production.
• Programming: Expert proficiency in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras/PyTorch) and/or R.
• Data Querying: Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• MLOps: Familiarity with MLOps principles, tools, and practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Statistical Modeling: Deep understanding and application of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and experimental design.
• Machine Learning: Strong expertise in various machine learning algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, NLP, CV).
• Data Visualization: Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly for effective data storytelling.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Superior communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and guiding team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• High degree of intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.
• Willing to report onsite at Centris, Quezon City as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and deployment of advanced analytical and ML models addressing complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define problems and translate into data science solutions.
• Drive strategic direction of data science initiatives across industries and functions.
• Design, develop, and implement predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive models using diverse ML techniques.
• Conduct data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation for accuracy and robustness.
• Optimize model performance and scalability in production with MLOps and engineering teams.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining on large datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide guidance on experimental design, A/B testing, and causal inference.
• Mentor junior data scientists, perform code reviews, and support professional growth.
• Stay updated with advancements in data science and apply cutting-edge techniques when appropriate.
• Contribute to Genpact thought leadership via internal and external activities.
• Ensure data quality, model governance, and ethical AI practices with proper documentation.
