Job summary

DCX PH Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Home-Based Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines powering analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the organization.

You will work with Snowflake as the core data platform, build scalable ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with analytics, engineering, and leadership to deliver well-governed data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional data engineering experience, with Snowflake.
• Very proficient written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake.
• Implement pipeline orchestration with scheduling, monitoring, and alerts.
• Develop Snowflake objects to support ingestion, transformation, and access.
• Optimize query performance and warehouse utilization.
• Enforce Snowflake RBAC policies across environments.
• Design dimensional/relational data models with layered architecture.
• Use dbt or equivalent tooling for modular transformations.
• Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and governance.
• Maintain data catalog and metadata practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and developers to deliver datasets.
• Maintain pipeline and platform documentation.
• Ad hoc tasks as needed.
