Job summary

Smartly is seeking a Senior Business Analytics Analyst to design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled analytics workflows that transform how Smartly uses business data. You will focus on recurring analytics processes such as executive metrics reporting, OKR tracking, and customer engagement reporting, partnering with multiple teams to create reliable, scalable AI workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills, ideally including BigQuery.
• Professional experience with Python.
• Experience building dashboards, recurring reporting, or automated analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Redash, Looker, or similar.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, automation, or workflow efficiency.
• Ability to translate business questions into data requirements, analysis plans, and clear outputs.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-enabled analytics workflows for recurring outputs.
• Create agentic or semi-agentic processes to reduce manual reporting and insight generation.
• Transform static dashboards into contextual, actionable decision briefs.
• Develop repeatable prompts, logic, templates, and review workflows for AI-generated analysis.
• Support automation of company OKR tracking and customer engagement reporting.
• Lead analytics infrastructure improvements with BI environments like Tableau, Redash, Looker, and BigQuery.
• Establish human-in-the-loop reviews and quality checks for AI-assisted insights.
• Collaborate with analysts to turn dashboards and reports into recommendations and chat interfaces.
