Job summary

M365Consult is seeking a Senior AI & Full-Stack Engineer for a fully remote, long-term role. You will develop across frontend and backend, integrate AI capabilities, and manage Linux infrastructure, databases, and deployments.

You will lead developers, mentor peers, and coordinate outsourced contributors to deliver reliable software across multiple initiatives. You will translate business requirements into actionable tasks, design APIs, and ensure scalable, maintainable systems with a focus on

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience delivering and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong frontend skills with a modern framework, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong backend with secure APIs, integrations, validation, and error handling.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into software.
• Experience with AI coding assistants or agentic development workflows.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience including migrations and backups.
• Hands-on Linux administration and Docker deployment.
• Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, firewalls, ports, and reverse proxies.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions; familiarity with Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines.
• Strong Git, PRs, code reviews, and release-management skills.
• Experience leading a development team or coordinating technical delivery.
• Mentoring experience and ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Experience with outsourced developers or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications across frontend and backend.
• Build AI-powered features, integrations, internal tools, and automations.
• Lead developers, mentor colleagues, and coordinate outsourced contributors.
• Translate business requirements into clear implementation tasks and acceptance criteria.
• Design APIs, business logic, authentication, authorization, and third-party integrations.
• Manage database schemas, migrations, and performance; ensure backups and recovery.
• Administer Linux servers and Docker environments; manage networking and health checks.
• Maintain CI/CD workflows and deployments with migration checks and rollbacks.
• Investigate production incidents and address root causes.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Mentor teams to improve coding practices and reduce complexity.
