Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Solution Architect (AI & Data Platform) to design a unified data ecosystem and AI-driven workflows across Snowflake and AWS. You will align architectural direction with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with engineering delivery and active code contributions.

You will mentor teams, champion best practices, and help scale data platforms, focusing on Snowflake data modeling, AWS services, Python and SQL, and production Kafka/Airflow deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or data architecture.
• Experience leading a team of 5+ employees.
• Involvement in 2+ full-cycle projects across development lifecycle.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI and data transformation initiatives.
• Deep Snowflake data modeling and performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM) delivery.
• Advanced Python and SQL for data platforms.
• Production experience with Kafka and Airflow.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows and agent-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis of current data and AI architecture landscape.
• Architect and deliver a consolidated data platform across Snowflake and AWS.
• Establish scalable AI workflows while controlling technical debt.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and data platform teams to align priorities.
• Review, mentor, and contribute to code to keep delivery on track.
• Champion best practices across data engineering and AI architecture disciplines.
