Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a skilled Training Engineer to design hands-on lab scenarios across containers, Kubernetes, Linux and cloud. You will automate and maintain the training platform, deliver technical workshops, and author clear courseware in YAML/Markdown.

You’ll apply instructional design principles, work with AI tooling to speed content creation, and mentor junior teammates. This role supports a global audience from a remote, international team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with containers, orchestration (Kubernetes), Linux, and cloud services.
• Fluent coding in 1–2 languages (Bash, Python, Go) and ability to author YAML/Markdown content.
• 3+ years of instructing and breaking down complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal English for global training delivery.
• Experience using AI coding/agent tools as part of lab creation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex lab scenarios across containers, Kubernetes, Linux, and public cloud.
• Own automation and reliability of the training platform (Instruqt, LMS): provisioning, scripting, and troubleshooting sessions.
• Design and deliver engaging training, workshops and demos for diverse audiences.
• Create courseware and technical documentation in YAML and Markdown; translate concepts into learning journeys.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate content creation while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Lead training projects from inception to delivery and mentor junior teammates.
