Sutherland is seeking a Learning Technology Developer who blends instructional design with software development to deliver AI-powered learning solutions. You will craft engaging e-learning, simulations, and AI-enabled features, collaborating with SMEs, designers, and developers to translate performance gaps into scalable learning tools.

The role requires experience across instructional design and production-ready software development, with opportunities to impact thousands of learners globally.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
• Experience creating measurable learning objectives and aligning assessments to outcomes.
• Familiarity with ADDIE, SAM, or similar models.
• Ability to produce design documentation, storyboards, and course outlines.
• Experience developing SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and/or xAPI content.
• Understanding LMS functionality, learner tracking, bookmarking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design learning experiences aligned with business goals and measurable outcomes.
• Convert content outlines into storyboards, interaction designs, and functional learning solutions.
• Develop SCORM/xAPI-enabled e-learning for LMS environments and deploy them.
• Build interactive simulations, role-plays, and AI-powered learning experiences.
• Design AI-enabled features like virtual personas, automated assessment, adaptive feedback, and AI coaching.
• Develop internal learning tools using modern development frameworks and maintain them.
