Job summary

InLife Benefits is looking for a Senior Claims Specialist in Information Technology to define and lead projects in the insurance sector. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and proven project management experience, preferably in financial services.

You will drive project scope and ensure compliance with regulations, while also managing multiple projects simultaneously. The position offers hybrid working options, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and lead project teams across departments such as underwriting, claims, IT, marketing, and compliance.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and implementing lessons learned.
• Oversee vendor relationships and third-party contractors involved in projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, insurance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory environment.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
